Homemade Ruched Dress - Cutting And Stitching Poplin Fabric
A simple ruched dress you can make at home even as a beginner. I show you how to cut the dress and how to stitch it. The fabric was 1 1/2meters at 45'' width, cut on the cross grain. You will only need elastic for this, no zipper is needed.

why cant you downisize and take it only on the sides? Just courious i have A line dress with same waist with a band and I thpught I can take it from side seams only? :(

It was some random left over fabric i had. It had some stretch on the bias. Probably a polyester mix with something.
